AYLUS Great Neck Branch played Sports with Kids at Firefighters Park 33rd (6/13/25)

On Friday, June 13th from 4:30 to 5:30 PM, AYLUS volunteers accompanied and organized an activity for children at Firefighters Park where it allowed them to exercise and play different sports. Some of the games included tag, football and ping pong. Since tag was the most enjoyable activity, they ended up spending the majority of their time playing it. It was a wonderful time to come out, participate with kids and promote interaction amongst volunteers and children.

Nowadays, many of us spend a great amount of time sitting, studying, and using technology which is harmful for our eyes and health. This outdoor event reminds us that standing up and exercising can help improve our immunity and mental health. Both the volunteers and kids had a pleasant time at the park. We thank everyone who participated in this event.
