AYLUS Frisco & Plano Branch Volunteering at FMSC on May 10th, 2025

Reported by: Amanda Zhu Posted by: Jenny Lin

On May 10, 2025, four members of AYLUS and three parents participated in a Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) packing session. We arrived at FMSC around 7:15 pm. FMSC provides MannaPack rice to kids in need all over the world. MannaPack rice has four
ingredients: vitamins, veggies, soy, and rice. FMSC provided detailed instructions for us to pack MannaPack using the four ingredients. We were assigned different responsibilities and worked as packagers on the assembly line. We tried our best to complete as many boxes of MannaPack rice bags as we could. At the end we cleaned up the workstation and the floor. We met up together with all the other volunteers to go over the amount of MannaPack rice we had packed. All the volunteers packed 20,736 meals that can feed 56 kids for a year. We are very proud of what we achieved.
