On May 18, 2025, AYLUS members helped at their local senior center.
The volunteers helped the residents got to exercise their bodies and get a little more energy for the rest of the day. Then, the volunteers served fruit bowls with yogurt and fruits After collecting the bowls and utensils from the finished residents, the volunteers took the seniors out on a walk around the garden, enjoying the fresh air and beautiful garden. Finally, the residents were brought to lunch and all the plates and cups were tidied away.

On May 18th, 2025, Murrieta AYLUS members played piano for seniors.
In honor of National Asian Heritage Week, the senior center asked members to dress up in asian costumes for the seniors.
The staff also brought members to one of the seniors’ rooms to surprise her since one of the members was wearing the costume from her culture. Then, members went to the library to play piano. Many people stopped by and admired the music and outfits and members took song requests during the last fifteen minutes. Members also played some classical Asian songs that many seniors complimented after. At the end, members went to take a picture with the same senior they visited earlier before saying goodbye.
