AYLUS North Hollywood Volunteers for CicLaVia: Koreatown Meets Hollywood | April 6, 2025

Activity & Impact

On April 6, 2025, nine members of the AYLUS North Hollywood branch volunteered at CicLAvia, a car-free community festival that transforms city streets into safe, open spaces for biking, walking, and connecting with others. The event ran in three volunteer shifts ranging from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Throughout the event, AYLUS members assisted with wayfinding, monitored slow zones and dismount areas, managed participant traffic at vehicle intersections, and provided attendees with route and activity information. In addition to event operations, AYLUS North Hollywood set up an information booth to advertise the branch, recruit new members, and host games for community engagement.

CicLAvia fosters fun and community engagement through live entertainment and interactive activities. By participating, AYLUS members made sure streets were safe and the community was connected, while promoting AYLUS to event attendees.
