On November 30, three members of the AYLUS Chapel Hill branch spent the day creating handmade origami for cancer patients. Our volunteers carefully folded colorful paper into a variety of intricate shapes and designs. These origami pieces will be sent to Kits to Heart, a nonprofit organization that assembles cancer care kits for patients. The kits are meant to provide comfort and encouragement during treatment, and we hope our creations bring a little joy and positivity to those who receive them.
Volunteers who participated in this event were Luna Chen , Nicholas Wang (4 hours), Matthew Guo (6 hours) and Alwin Liu (6 hours).
