On August 18th, 2024, Murrieta AYLUS served ice cream and played piano for the seniors.
In the library, members were happy to see many seniors already waiting for them. They talked with members, getting to know each other better. The seniors asked members to play lots of classical music, and members found out that one senior was a former pianist before! Members played famous pieces by Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, and Tchaikovsky before playing any pieces that seniors asked for. In the parlor, members washed their hands before serving people. Seniors hugged members goodbye, and wished them luck on the rest of their day.

On August 18th, 2024, Murrieta AYLUS members helped at local senior centers.
At Torrey Pines Senior Living: The volunteers led a few of the residents through a light exercise program, before preparing their morning snacks and drinks. The residents were given banana slices and Oreos, and given a choice between cranberry juice and water. After the residents finished the volunteers took and cleaned the cups and plates, before putting on the Sunday mass. Afterwards, they put on some orchestra music and danced with a few of the residents, before taking them to lunch.
