On June 30th, members of the AYLUS Chapel Hill Branch crocheted mini hearts for cancer patients to spread hope and support during their recovery. We selected colorful yarn and followed online tutorials step-by-step to create these adorable crochet hearts. These mini hearts are meant for patients to keep in their wallets or bags, serving as reminders that we care deeply about them. They can also serve as good luck charms during appointments, aiming to bring smiles, hope, and strength to those battling cancer. We hope that these small yet heartfelt gestures will make a positive difference in their lives, letting them know they are not alone in their journey.
Volunteers who participated in this event are Vanessa Lin (6 hours) and Luna Chen (1 hour and 10 minutes).
