On 5/18/2024 members of AYLUS Syosset went to Bayard cutting arboretum to help remove the invasive species preventing our plants from growing. After arriving at Bayard cutting arboretum there were so many invasive plants that we couldn’t believe we could remove all this in just about 2 hours. Members of the Syosset used tools such as pitchforks, rakes, and grape hoe law rakes to clean up the leaves on the ground and the garbage that past visitors threw and started cutting and pulling out the invasive plants. As a member of the AYLUS family, I think it is our job to protect the environment and give the community a better and more comfortable place to live.
