The Sangha Education Center, originally a historic Quaker home, likely dates back to the 18th century, making it one of the older houses in the area with an unmistakable charm from a bygone era. While some furniture has been modernized, the essence of the house’s historical significance still shines through. In 2022, Christine Keller officially transformed the house into a nonprofit educational center. The center is dedicated to providing a secure and nurturing environment for young individuals, particularly those with disabilities like autism, aiming to address their specific needs through diverse activities and educational methods. Keller’s mission is to create a serene and supportive atmosphere, uplifting the spirits of young people and facilitating their integration into society. She warmly welcomes new volunteers to join and contribute to her noble cause.
