On January 7, 2024, a group of AYLUS volunteers packed around 30 orders, more than 70lb of Chinese-style bacon and sausages. Since it was our first time doing something like this, we
started by creating a smooth assembly line-type system where we all had one job: cutting the meat, packing it into plastic bags, weighing the meat, calculating the price per order, and labeling the meat package. At first, we were a bit slow as we were getting used to everything, but after the first few orders, everyone got the hang of it, and we started going smoother and faster. We are so glad that we contributed to Plano Children’s Medical Center fundraiser.
