The AYLUS Dix Hills Branch volunteers at Kings Point Park to help clean up the hiking trails. Given that this was a continuation of a previous trip there, volunteers traveled along a different part of the hiking trail to collect the trash there. Volunteers brought along trash bags and gloves as they hiked along the trails, and cleaned up the area without disturbing the natural environment there. While walking along the 2-mile long trail, various items were found, including water bottles, glass, plastic, styrofoam, and other types of litter. Volunteers worked from 11:30 to 1:00 to help get rid of trash scattered around.
Volunteers: Bryan Fan (2 hrs) and Jonathan Fan (1.5 hrs).
