On November 18th, 2023, AYLUS Houston once again illuminated Katy with its second SMILE Inclusive Playdate at Katy Christian Community Church. This special event, dedicated to children with special needs, brought together families, volunteers, and the community for a day filled with games, activities, and boundless smiles. The impactful event was made possible through the unwavering support of the Light and Salt Association.
The playdate aimed to create an inclusive environment where every child, regardless of their abilities, could actively participate and enjoy the festivities. The dedication of volunteers, who received training to ensure a welcoming atmosphere, contributed to fostering a sense of belonging and acceptance among all participants.
