On November 11th, 2023, Aylus Raritan Valley Branch volunteers helped out at the Aldersgate United Methodist Church’s food pantry and thrift shop. Volunteers helped organize and distribute foods like fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, and bread to local families. Events like these, which the Aldersgate United Methodist Church organizes every week, are important to provide essential resources for all members of our community. Our volunteers assisted the families by directing them to different foods and carrying their bags. Then, they brought the goods outside to carts, which were then used to easily bring their goods to their cars. Through these events, our volunteers can give back to their community and assist those in need. We sincerely thank those who participated in this event and look forward to others joining in the future!
