In the afternoon of November 12, AYLUS Pearland volunteers enthusiastically organized the 5th Pearland My Play Club at the Ed Thompson Inclusive Playground. Despite the unexpected challenge of rain dampening the attendance, our dedicated volunteers ensured a delightful experience for the kids who braved the weather to join us.
Prior to the event, volunteers diligently prepared a range of engaging activities, including tattoos, coloring, bucket drumming, turkey headband crafts, face painting, and a ring tossing game. The inclement weather may have resulted in fewer children attending compared to previous events, but the unwavering commitment of our volunteers prevailed.
Undeterred by the rain, our volunteers wholeheartedly served the attending kids, ensuring they had a thoroughly enjoyable time despite the weather constraints. This event not only showcased the resilience of the AYLUS Pearland community but also highlighted our dedication to fostering inclusive and joyful experiences in Pearland.
