Throughout October, temperatures have begun to decrease so Chapel Hill members gathered school-appropriate winter items for children and families facing hardship during the winter season. This compassionate initiative aimed to provide warmth and comfort to those in need. The donated items include various winter essentials such as jackets, shirts, scarves, gloves, and hats, ensuring that local children and their families stay warm during the upcoming winter.
The volunteers that participated in this event were April Zhang (10/29/2023, 2 hours), Joshua Yoon (10/29/2023, 2 hours), Nicholas Wang (10/29/2023, 2 hours), Ethan Li (DA, 10/30/2023, 2 hours), Luna Chen (10/30/2023, 2 hours) and Matthew Guo (2 hours).
