At the end of October, members of the AYLUS Chapel Hill Branch worked to bring some happiness to seniors in their community. They baked homemade cookies in their own kitchens and sent them to Meals on Wheels, an organization that provides meals to homebound seniors. This small act of kindness, along with two placemats, can make a big difference in someone’s day. They hope these cookies will bring joy to the seniors.
Volunteers who participated in this event are Nicholas Wang (1 hour), Eric Sun (2 hours), Luna Chen (4 hours), Joshua Yoon (2 hours), Matthew Guo (4 hours), Owen Xie (4 hours), April Zhang (6 hours), and Vanessa Lin (2 hours)
