Today the LISOC celebrated Halloween with a decorative and festive atmosphere with volunteers and teachers alike wearing costumes. Volunteers worked to set up decorations and distribute candy in addition to their regular teacher assistant volunteering.
As teacher assistants, volunteers graded students’ classwork and homework assignments. This allowed the teacher more time to focus on classroom instruction and individual student needs.
Volunteers: Ru Xue Jiang (5 hours), Zishan Ji (3 hours), Kris Zhang (4 hours), and Ming Chen (4.5 hours)
