On September 30, 2023, the members of the Chapel Hill Branch worked together to craft mini crochet hearts and heart pillows for cancer patients. This heartwarming event aimed to provide comfort to those fighting cancer. The handmade items will be given to cancer patients in hospitals, and we hope that these gifts will offer them emotional support and a tangible reminder of our community’s care. Our branch aspires to make this a regular community event to continue spreading love and comfort to those facing cancer in the area.
