On September 16, 2023, the dedicated volunteers of AYLUS Pearland played a crucial role in enhancing the Farmers Market experience at Independence Park. Beginning their day early in the morning, these volunteers actively participated in setting up the various market booths.
Their efforts involved organizing the Welcome table and the AYLUS promotion booth, as well as assisting vendors in the smooth transition of their merchandise from vehicles to stalls.
As the clock struck 10 a.m., additional AYLUS volunteers arrived to grace the market with their talents. Their captivating performances included a dragon dance, violins and guitars, Chinese traditional instruments, and singing. These diverse performances captured the attention and admiration of the attending guests, making the market a vibrant and lively place.
Meanwhile, at the AYLUS Pearland promotion booth, our enthusiastic youth members not only distributed twisting balloons but also actively promoted the invaluable services offered by the Light and Salt Association. Furthermore, they passionately advocated for the All of Us Research Program, spreading awareness about its significance.
As the day came to a close, our volunteers continued to contribute by efficiently dismantling the market booths and assisting vendors in returning their merchandise to their vehicles. Their commitment to both the setup and teardown processes ensured a seamless and successful Farmers Market event.
