On September 1st and 9th , 2023, AYLUS volunteers met up at a volunteer’s house to make foods that are to be sold to local community and in preparation for an upcoming AYLUS fundraiser event. The volunteers were walked through the process and division of roles in creating onigiri and spam musubis. Each volunteer was able to successfully create multiple of each food and was allowed to take any of them home. The made onigiri and musubis were sold to local community for fundraising.
The entire meeting was shared and recorded on Zoom to broadcast the process to more members. In the recording, Anne Wong is shown demonstrating the process of making an onigiri.
