On Sunday, August 20: The volunteers greeted the residents, participating in a gentle sing-along. While activities weren’t planned for the day due to the hurricane, the caretakers printed copies of the daily chronicle that the volunteers read with the residents. They couldn’t go outside due to the rain, however the residents ate cookies and had juice or water while enjoying the view outside. They continued the sing-along, then played some animal trivia together. Afterwards, the residents were transported to the dining hall.

On Sunday, August 27: The volunteers took a few of the residents on walks around the courtyard, before preparing a snack with peaches. The residents exercised as the volunteers prepared the cups of fruit and juices and waters, before the residents were given their snack. After the cups were cleared, the residents read the daily chronicle together, before they were taken on more walks to enjoy the sun. After the walks the residents went inside and had music therapy, before the caretakers and volunteers took the residents to lunch.
