We all may have passed by a local Goodwill once in our lives, and some might have even heard about people donating their clothes there, but what is the point in donating? Is Goodwill not simply reselling and gaining profit from the consumer’s old goods? But in fact, there is a more homely cause, to support the community. Goodwill provides jobs for those who have issues finding employment, or those with disabilities, which provides jobs for anyone struggling in the community and provides cheaper clothing to those who can’t afford more expensive clothing. AYLUS wants to support Goodwill, and so, on Aug 8th our members first spent time on organizing their closet and found suitable clothing and shoes in good condition for resale at Goodwill. We gathered together at 3939 Ohio Dr, Frisco, TX 75035. Our members went down and donated some used clothing and shoes to Goodwill! Their employees greeted us and took pictures with us to show their appreciation. Thank you for all your donation. Your generosity means everything to the community we serve!
