On August 5th, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the Queens Branch volunteered with NYC Parks at Astoria Park. We went all over the 60 acres park looking for and picking up trash. This included cigarette buds, glass/plastic bottles, bags of dog poop, tissues, food wrappers, and plastic containers.
