Pearland Branch Making Mums for Fundraising on August 5th, 2023

On Saturday, August 5th, a group of hardworking AYLUS volunteers gathered at Tina Dong’s house to prepare a Mum for the upcoming Pearland Farmer’s Market.

The volunteers were eager to learn the different techniques and processes involved in creating a stunning Mum. They spent the entire morning working diligently to perfect their braiding skills and learn the art of decorating the Mum. The volunteers were able to create five different braids, each with its own unique style and flair. They carefully decorated the Mum with beautiful flowers, ribbons, and other intricate detail, ensuring that it was perfect for the upcoming Market.

The AYLUS volunteers had a great time learning the art of creating a beautiful Mum and working together to make it perfect. They were proud of their hard work and excited to see the final product at the Pearland Farmer’s Market. The volunteers couldn’t wait to share their creation with the community and were confident that the Mum would be a hit. Overall, it was a fun and rewarding experience for everyone involved.
