On July 30th, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the Queens Branch volunteered with NYC Parks at Hollis Playground. With great teamwork, we divided into groups of three, each assigned to work on revitalizing one bench at a time. Throughout the morning, we diligently scraped and painted numerous benches, using a combination of green and black paint to restore their beauty. It was a fulfilling day of giving back to the community and making the park a better place for everyone to enjoy.
