On Saturday, July 29, 2023, over a dozen members of AYLUS Phoenix volunteered at Midwest Food Bank to pack, seal, and label food packs for the Tender Mercies program. In an assembly line, some members added rice and other dry ingredients to bags, then packaged them into boxes. Other members carefully labeled plastic bags for later use. These small bags of food, usually combined with other foods into packages, make a big difference for the homeless populations in Arizona and those in need.
