On July 15, 2023, Aylus Pearland held an open house showcase for the launching of Aylus Summer K-Pop Dance lessons hosted by Athena Dance Academy and promotion of AYLUS. Held at the Westside Library, the objective of the Open house was to welcome the new students into the world of dance and to showcase the program’s dance instructors.
The Open house began with the introduction of the lead instructor Abigail Zheng, a dancer with
over a half a decade of experience in many styles of dance, and her assistants Anna Zheng and Grace Dai who also have experience of K-pop. After the introductions, the instructors showcased a short section of the Korean Song “Poppy” by STAYC and then gave a short demo of Poppy to the students. The students then performed the small section of the chorus to the parents. With the performance end, the open house also comes to an end.
Overall, the Open house was a success, and the instructors cannot wait for the Dance Lessons to begin.
