On Wednesday, July 12th, AYLUS volunteers coached tennis as part of their continued summer tennis lessons for fundraising.
The students were split between beginner and intermediate players with Wyatt and Caroline teaching the beginners, and William and Daniel teaching the intermediate players. The coaches first led a warmup for all the students and then moved on to further develop their forehand and backhand technique. In addition, the students completed conditioning with Coach Daniel and worked on footwork drills. Finally, the students finished with playing king/queen of the court.
As time began to run out, the coaches ended the class with light stretching to end class.
