On May-July ,2023, Zide Liu and four volunteers from the AYLUS Pearland branch, engaged in
a creative initiative to support the Light and Salt Association. The team focused on mural hand
painting and Decoration projects, aiming to promote the concept of a healthy life and living.
Activities:
Under the leadership of Zide Liu, the AYLUS Pearland branch volunteers dedicated their artistic
efforts to convey the theme of healthy life and living through mural hand drawing, digital art and
Bulletin Board 3D blueprint. The following activities were undertaken:
1.Hand Drawing:
The team meticulously planned and executed a series of murals that depicted various aspects of a healthy lifestyle. These murals showcased scenes related to physical fitness, mental well-being, and positive relationships.
2. Digital Art:
In addition to mural hand drawing, the volunteers also created digital artworks. Through vibrant colors, captivating visuals, and thoughtful compositions, the murals aimed to inspire and encourage the community to prioritize their overall well-being and make healthier choices in their lives. These digital artworks were not only to be used as reference when painting, but were also intended to be shared online, extending the reach of the message and promoting healthy living beyond the physical location of the murals.
3. Bulletin Board 3D blueprint:
While the LSA Mural was underway in the design process, running parallel to it was the 2nd half of this huge project; the installation of bulletin boards for the students to hang their art up on display. A 3D design was digitally created with specific measurements to the inch showing where the boards would go and where to drill into the wall to be able to screw in brackets to hold the boards.
Zide Liu and the volunteers from the AYLUS Pearland branch demonstrated commendable dedication and artistic talent in their mural hand drawing and digital art projects for the Light and Salt Association. By focusing on the concept of healthy life and living, they effectively conveyed the importance of well-being through visually captivating artwork. The collaboration between AYLUS Pearland, the Light and Salt Association, and the community exemplifies the positive impact that can be achieved through artistic expression and community engagement in promoting healthier lifestyles.
