On Friday, July 7th, AYLUS volunteers coached tennis as part of their continued summer tennis lessons for fundraising.
The students were split between beginner and intermediate players with Yifan and Boyu teaching the beginners and Alexander, William, and Daniel teaching the intermediate players. The coaches first led a warmup for all the students and then moved on to further develop their forehand and backhand technique. In addition, the students completed conditioning with Coach Daniel and worked on footwork drills to finish the lesson.
As time began to run out, the coaches ended the class with light stretching to end class.
Finally, popsicles were given out to all the students and coaches to end the week on a good note!
