On Wednesday, June 28, four volunteers from AYLUS Pearland offered their time and skills to support the SMILE Program, a program designed to assist students with special needs. The volunteers began the day by assisting the students with a painting project in which the students painted a beautiful sunset landscape. on a fulfilling journey as they engaged with the students and facilitated art projects. This hands-on experience allowed the students to express their creativity while developing their artistic abilities.
After assisting the students with their art projects, Alexander Sun and William Sun taught their own art lessons of pen drawing and graffiti art. With their guidance, the students learned various techniques and explored different styles to create unique pieces of art.
The impact of the AYLUS Pearland volunteers’ involvement in the SMILE Program was undoubtedly significant and the art projects and lessons provided a platform for self-expression, creativity, and skill development. Through their actions, the volunteers not only enhanced the students’ artistic abilities but also fostered a sense of empowerment and joy, creating a memorable experience for everyone.
