AYLUS empowers youth to develop leadership skills and serve their communities through volunteering. One of the ways in which AYLUS has made a positive impact can be found in the online tutoring program located in Pearland.
This program provides support to students in grades K-12 who are struggling with learning the English Language in exchange for a small fee as fundraising. The tutors are volunteers from AYLUS Pearland, who are high-achieving students themselves and have a passion for helping others.
The tutoring program has been a huge success with many students benefiting from the extra academic support. The program has not only helped students improve their grades but has also boosted their confidence and motivation. Additionally, the program has allowed the tutors to develop valuable leadership and communication skills as they work with students from diverse backgrounds.
