Over the weekend of April 22, six dedicated members of the AYLUS Chapel Hill branch came together to bake an array of delicious cookies (11 dozen in total) for a worthy cause – the Meals on Wheels Foundation. These volunteers selflessly donated their time and effort in their own kitchens, meticulously preparing and individually packaging the cookies. The Meals on Wheels program has been serving seniors and other individuals who struggle to access food for nearly 80 years, ensuring they receive the essential nutrients they need. With the invaluable assistance of our AYLUS members, we are proud to contribute to this noble cause and provide not only sustenance but also some sweet treats to brighten the day of those in need. It is our hope that these small yet heartfelt acts of love and care will bring joy to the seniors and inspire others in our community to make a positive impact as well.
