On April 16th, 2003, 4 members from our branch helped out at our nearest fire stations by joining their initiative to plant a vegetable garden! The fire stations across Town of Cary plant organic garden that will provide fresh produce for the firefighters and community members alike. Our branch is proud to be part of it. In the morning, Kenna and Brianna joined the gardening event at the Carpenter Fire Road Fire Station. In the afternoon, Allen and Halley joined the gardening event at the Mills Park Road Fire Station.
Volunteers that participated in this event: Kenna Zhang (2 hours), Brianna Xin (2 hours), Allen Liu (2 hours), Halley Zhong (2 hours).
