San Diego Branch Participated the volunteer event at Feeding San Diego on April 7th, 2023

Feeding San Diego is on a mission to connect every person facing hunger with nutritious meals by maximizing food rescue. Established in 2007, Feeding San Diego is the leading hunger relief and food rescue organization in San Diego County and the only Feeding America member in the region. Feeding San Diego provides more than 40.3 million meals every year to children, families, seniors, college students, military families, veterans, people facing homelessness, and other underserved populations. We distribute meals in partnership with 292 local charities, schools, faith communities, meal sites, and food pantries throughout the region. AYLUS San Diego Branch set up the recurring volunteer events at Feeding San Diego and volunteer students spent 2 hours each time, sorting and packaging g foods, decorating backpacks for meals, and sorting files.

The following volunteers participated 04/07/2023 event, 2.0 hours for each: Emily Zhu, Emmy Zhu, Tianhua Li, Brigette Shi, Mia Szymanowski, Eric Li(FP), Ayden Liang, Shirang Wang, Tianai Wang, Jiaquan Liu, Kristina Wang, Sarah Wang, & Alyssa Zheng.
