During the month of March, AYLUS Pearland volunteers grew a variety of plants for on-site and online sales. They planted seeds for vegetables such as Chinese cucumbers, loofahs, green bean, winter melon, pepper, tomato, and perilla, as well as replanted some flowers such as zinnia and cosmos. In addition to the fundraiser at the Old Pearland Farmer’s Market, the volunteers also sold online. The total amount from the online sales in March reached $250. All proceeds will go to support student clubs and sports teams at local schools.
