AYLUS Pearland volunteers helped with the Old Pearland Farmers Market and ran a fundraiser at the Independence Park from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
The first shift of volunteers arrived in the early morning icy rain. They helped the organizer set up the booths and welcome table, where they sold merchandise and took donations for local veterans.
The rest of the group prepared the AYLUS Pearland fundraising table where they sold plants, balloon animals and offered face painting. AYLUS volunteers participated in three shifts and raised a total of $145 to benefit the school’s clubs.
