On February 18th, 15 members of the AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Branch volunteered at the ALFC Generosity Center for the second time to help package and distribute food to those in need. The AYLUS members were invited back by the organizers of the event due to their outstanding performance during their previous visit.
The members were divided into two groups, with one group helping to package canned and bean food indoors, and the other group distributing the food outside.
The volunteer activity proved to be a challenging test of endurance for all members, as they worked tirelessly for five hours straight without stopping. Visitors who came to receive the food drove to the center, and the AYLUS members were responsible for placing the food in the trunks of their cars.
Despite the physical challenges, the AYLUS members were grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact in their community. They felt fulfilled and satisfied in being able to provide much-needed food support to families in need.
All 15 members completed their five-hour volunteer service with pride and satisfaction. The AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Branch looks forward to continuing their volunteer work in the future and making a meaningful difference in their community.
