On March 3rd, 5 AYLUS Twin Cities members volunteered at the Special Olympics Polar Plunge event. The members were in charge of checking in Polar Plunge volunteers who were fundraising for Special Olympics, an organization that supports athletes with intellectual disabilities. We volunteered for 4.5 hours, from 2 PM – 6: 30 PM. It was a very meaningful experience volunteering for Special Olympics and knowing that our work would help support and give hope to those who could use it. We hope to volunteer again!
