On February 26, 2023, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, AYLUS Pearland officers held a meeting with branch board members to discuss and plan the officer elections in late March or early April. We decided on the format and dates of the election, and discussed some other issues related to future AYLUS Pearland activities. The election will have two parts, with the first part being on Saturday March 25th, where AYLUS members will meet and vote virtually, and the second half being on Sunday, where the board members meet in person discuss and finalize officer positions. We also talked about the requirements to be eligible to run for an officer position and possible changes. Every current officer agrees to write a job description for his/her current position in order for candidates to learn more about the needs of those positions.
