Frisco-Plano Branch create a book drop at CCCFC along with shift schedules on Jan 29, 2023

Reported By Bruce Wu

On January 29 2023, 7 AYLUS members got together for a meeting and created a book drop area at CCCFC.

They created a schedule with 3 shifts on different schedules to hand out flyers, talk to people coming in and out, and collecting books on Friday and Sunday. That way they would be able to collect books from anyone who wanted to donate them away. The containers for the book drop would be there week long, allowing anyone one the weekdays to also be able to drop off donations. We hope to receive many books this week and weeks to come.

The goal of Frisco & Plano Branch in 2023 is help build 3-5 libraries for children in Africa as many regions of Africa do not have books or other educational resources to support children living there. You can visit https://librarieswithlove.org to learn more and email aylusfriscoplano@gmail.com if you have used books you would like to donate to help build libraries.
