On January 21st, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm, AYLUS Pearland teamed up with Pearland Chinese Association to host the 3rd Pearland Lunar New Year Gala at Pearland Junior High West.
Our volunteers worked hard to co-host and manage the night gala. Some of the jobs they covered included serving as door guards, dressing up in panda/bunny costumes, helping the audience find their seats, and scanning festival tickets. Some of the other event speakers also helped co-host the show by taking over intermissions/described their experience at the Light and Salt Association. Lastly, many volunteers helped pass out post-festival red envelopes to the families leaving as a fortune.
Due to the tremendous effort put in, Pearland was able to host such a successful yet engaging festival to celebrate an amazing cultural holiday.
