On Dec 27th, 2022, San Diego student of AYLUS kicked off the 3rd National Geographic Challenge Camp at the Carmel Valley PHR community in San Diego. This is the first time we held the Humanity Challenge Camp in person at a neighbourhood community.
The program allows volunteers to provide English/Chinese reading and story telling to the new immigrant kids about the knowledge of animals, geographic, history and language of United States and help them grow accustomed to communicating in the taught language and understanding the concepts of National Geographic.
Enke Luo tutored two kids, Linky and Lucky in person for 2.0 volunteer hours on Dec 27th, 2022.
