Description of the Lexington Branch
The Lexington Branch of the Alliance of Youth Leaders is designed to promote leadership and community-building skills throughout a student’s entire high school life and more. Our mission is to provide aid to those in need and to our community as well as serve as a program for students to develop and continue their passion for community service. By completing and participating in various activities and events, our members will help give back to the community as well as developing their community service skills. Through this branch, the students will work together to form bonds with the community and learn to give back to any group wherever they are. We plan on involving every member by allowing them to suggest and organize events while giving every member an opportunity to experience a leadership role. We also hope to prepare students for life past school and help develop skills such as communicating with others, working as a team, interacting with others, etc. Students who join the Lexington Branch will grow as students and become young adults who will change the world for the better.
