Triangle Branch of AYLUS is performing for Seniors at the Carol Woods Retirement Community for the second time on December 21, 2022
On December 21, 2022, AYLUS member Olivia Li and Duke University student Kevin Xu were personally invited to perform for the elderly in the Carol Woods retirement community. Have performed there in 2019 and almost 2020, previously at a retirement community. The seniors were very happy to see the performers again.
The hour-long concert ended with a standing ovation from the audience, who were overwhelmed by the talent, skill and enthusiasm of the two performers. Olivia and Kevin said the experience was very professional and they were treated with a lot of respect. They have rehearsal time, a lounge with water and snacks, and perform in a beautiful hall. The audience is also very entertaining. Margaret Klein was a key figure in making this performance possible and deserves our deepest gratitude.
Olivia and Kevin are happy to volunteer their time and talents to bring joy and entertainment to the seniors of Carol Woods. They hope to continue serving the community and look forward to returning to perform for seniors in the future.
