In December, the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) continued its holiday greeting event to seniors, firefighters, doctors, nurses, heroes and their families in our community, who sacrifice a lot to save lives, and deserve our honor and respect, especially in this holiday season.
Three years ago, GPA supported PFARS with a raised fund of $5000 for its new headquarters in Princeton. Since then, GPA has been donating holiday gifts/PPE to the real heroes every year.
In December, GPA member Steven Li (12/12, 3 hrs; 12/14, 3 hrs; 12/17, 3 hrs) organized a donation event for Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad (2 Mt Lucas Rd, Princeton, NJ 08540). More GPA members (12/17, 1 hr for all), including Meiqi Tan, Leia Levarek, Cici Yang, Vivien Yang, Manfred Yan, Levin Li, Isaac Chen, Eddy Tian, Eric Li, Dylan Li, Claire Hua, Claire Tang, Ziqi Zhang, and more, joined the organizers for the ceremony, hand delivering the holiday gifts to the real heroes.
In addition to the traditional holiday gifts, the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) can also donate custom brickheadz to the firefighters. Custom brickheadz are small, collectible figurines that are made to look like people. They are often given as gifts to fans of a particular person or franchise. The firefighters will be thrilled with the brickheadz, which are personalized with each firefighter’s name and badge number. The firefighters will be very touched by the gesture. The brickheadz is a thoughtful and unique gift that the firefighters will cherish for years to come. They are a reminder of the gratitude that the community has for their service.
More donation events are coming throughout the State of New Jersey!
