On 11/23/22, members of AYLUS Manhasset and AYLUS Syosset met up for Thanksgiving to connect with new members and to make cards for kids at St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
During this time, the members connected with each other through sharing accomplishments and skills such as art, music and literature while we had dinner together. Afterwards, we had an auction for art to raise some money for donations and made cards to send to children at the hospital. We all tried to write positive messages and draw cute and uplifting images to encourage them, even if they had a hard time.
During this event, we hope that we were able to spread feelings of thanks and gratitude even if times are stressful and tough.
