The AYLUS Bellaire Branch served at Walk to End Alzheimer’s by the Alzheimer’s Association
from 8am to 12pm on November 5, 2022.
The volunteers first greeted walkers and event attendees. They directed them to the “flower” garden and then the stage to hear the opening announcements and ceremony. Once the walking began, the volunteers were tasked with cheering and clapping for the walkers at the start and finish line. After the attendees left, the volunteers wrapped up the event by helping to pick up all the equipment, tents, and tables, and loaded them onto a pickup truck.
