AYLUS Phoenix presents Spooky Sweet Treats Candy Drive for for underprivileged kids on 10/15/2022

To celebrate the arrival of the Halloween season, AYLUS Phoenix presents Spooky Sweet Treats, an opportunity for members to make candy bags for underprivileged kids. Members can earn hours by donating store-bought candy bags, or by packaging them into small treat bags! Signup to donate candy or other supplies needed here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040d4aafa82ba6f85-spooky. The candy bags will be donated to children in our community.

This will be an in-person event. We will meet at Veterans Oasis Park on Saturday, October 15th from 4 pm to 7 pm.

Despite the rain, we packed hundreds of candies and drew fun little notes for the kids with your help! 🍭

The following members donated the candy ( 1 hour) and joined this event (3 hours).

Christina Vo (4 hours); Sophia Chen ( 4hrs); Annie Chen ( 4hrs); Victor Lang ( 4hrs); Lawrence Zhong ( 4hrs); Grace Zhang ( 4hrs); Audrey Zhang (4hrs), Caleb Liu (4hrs), Hannah Luo (4 hrs), Helen Ling (4 hrs)

Event Leader: Annie Chen (+ 6 hours) for making the flyer and candy distribution/donation to Midwest Food Bank and local homeless shelter (A New Leaf) for their Halloween event.
