Members and their friends were eager to begin the fun at 10:00am. The first activity was the AYLUS fun fact trivial pursuit and pumpkin giveaway. Participants gathered in groups of six and the commentator would ask questions about AYLUS. Anyone who got their question right won a free pumpkin. Afterwards were several rounds of tug of war with lots of fun. Youth gathered in groups of about eight and tried hard to pull the rope to their side. The audience broke into cheers. The winning team won blow pops and stickers. Members also enjoyed playing spike balls on the lawn.

At lunch break AYLUS provided wraps, pizza, sandwiches, donuts, chicken nuggets, and fruits and
vegetable plates. Parents were also invited to have lunch together with the youth. The afternoon
activities were mainly designed to work on the bonding of parents and teens. It is one of the follow-up activities for project of “Bridging the Gap – Intergeneration connection”. Light and Salt Association
designed the project and was awarded funding from the Hogg’s Foundation. The first activity was the

while the other person gave directions. This activity is designed to improve the communication between parents and teens. To wrap up the event three-legged races and sack races were hosted.
